Russellville, AR
The Train Depot
The Russellville, AR train depot, originally built in 1917 for the Missouri-Pacific Railroad, replaced an older structure and became a key community hub, known for its Mediterranean style and handling passengers, mail, and freight. After decades of service, it was acquired by the city in 1999, restored, and now houses Main Street Russellville offices, serves as a popular event venue, and features the iconic "Conductor" statue, symbolizing downtown revitalization.
The old train depot still sees several freight trains every day.
